Mode-locked Fiber Lasers using 2D Nanomaterials as Saturable Absorbers

Abstract

We demonstrate mode-locked fiber lasers using multilayer molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) and black phosphorus (BP) as saturable absorbers respectively. Experimental proofs are provided.
