Silicon Reflective Arrayed Waveguide Grating with Multimode Interference Reflectors

Abstract

We proposed a silicon reflective arrayed waveguide gratings (AWGs) based on multimode interference reflectors. An 8 × 200GHz reflective AWG is designed. The insertion loss and the crosstalk are 2.0 dB and −30 dB, respectively.
