A Scattered-Spectrum-Scan Routing and Spectrum Allocation Scheme for Spatial-Division-Multiplexing Optical Networks Based on Blocking OXCs

Abstract

We propose a novel scattered-spectrum-start-scan routing and spectrum allocation scheme for spatial-division-multiplexing optical networks based on OXCs with blocking switching architecture. The scheme can significantly reduce computational complexity with the same blocking performance.
