MIMO Equalization for Multi-Core Fiber-Based Systems Using the Affine Projection Algorithm

Abstract

An adaptive algorithm for MIMO equalization through multi-core fibers based on the affine projection is proposed. Our algorithm improves the convergence speed compared to LMS algorithm while having low computational complexity compared to RLS algorithm.
