Microwave Photonic Notch Filter Based on Phase Modulation

Abstract

A microwave photonic notch filter with tunable frequency is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. Experimental results with a 3-dB bandwidth of about 180 MHz, a tunable frequency from 1.5 to 6.6 GHz are obtained.
