Infrared Perfect Ultra-narrow Band Absorber as Plasmonic Sensor

Abstract

We propose and numerically investigate an ultra-high resolution refractive index sensor based on plasmonic metamaterial structure in near-infrared region, which has a high sensitivity of 2400nm/RIU and an ultra-high figure of merit (FOM) of 4800.
