Range-resolved atmospheric aerosol monitoring by a Scheimpflug lidar system based on a continuous-wave laser diode

Abstract

A continuous-wave Scheimpflug Lidar (SLidar) system has been developed for atmospheric aerosol monitoring in Dalian University of Technology, China. A nearly 2.5-hour measurement of atmospheric aerosol has been performed over 5 km range.
