Abstract

We propose a low-complexity frequency offset compensation method based on nonlinear preprocessing in Nyquist and faster-than-Nyquist (FTN) coherent optical systems. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the conventional algorithms in asymmetrical spectrum cases.
