Generation of Nth-order Orthogonal Hermite-Gaussian Waveforms Based on Frequency-to-time Mapping

Abstract

Taking advantage of frequency-to-time mapping, a novel programmable technique for nth-order temporal differentiation of optical waveforms is proposed. Based on the scheme, the first-order to the fourth-order Hermite-Gaussian pulses are experimentally generated.
