Abstract

We report the complex dynamics in nonlinear delayed feedback oscillators with silicon Mach-Zehnder and microring resonator electro-optic modulators. We present the analytic model and experimentally demonstrate period-doubling bifurcations and chaotic signal generations in both architectures.
