Optical Absorption and Thermal Nonlinearities in Graphene-on-Silicon Nitride Microring Resonators

Abstract

We study thermal nonlinearities of graphene-on-silicon nitride (Si3N4) microring resonators. The resonance lineshapes are experimentally compared between 40 µm- and 70 µm- long graphene integrated Si3N4 microring resonators at different input optical powers.
