Comparison of LDPC and Turbo Codes in Ultraviolet Wireless Communication Systems

Abstract

This paper compares LDPC and Turbo codes in ultraviolet wireless communication systems. Simulation results show the former can achieve better bit error rate (BER) performance with lower complexity than the latter for long length codes.
