Abstract

Using relative-intensity-noise(RIN) subtraction method, we find that the noise and gain changes significantly with the type of states of polarization(SOPs) in PS-FOPA. The noise figure(NF) of 0.18dB is achieved within ~100 nm telecommunication band with circular co-polarized pumps and signal.
