Abstract

A high-accuracy approach of arbitrary pulse shape control in MOPA based fiber lasers using feedforward gain compensation is proposed and demonstrated with 200ns-pulse-duration, 50kHz-repetition-rate pulse of targeted square, parabolic and Gaussian shape.
