Polarization-Diversity All-Optical Modulation Format Conversion from QPSK to BPSK Using FWM

Abstract

The authors have previously proposed all-optical modulation format conversion system from QPSK to BPSK. Since the performance depends on the incident signal’s polarization, we propose a polarization-diversity system to realize polarization independent operation.
