Abstract

New technological capabilities of the selective wet oxidation process of AlGaAs are presented, including an original approach based on epitaxial regrowth on partially oxidized layers. This opens the path to complex integrated 3D structuring for photonic devices, such as oxide-based high contrast grating VCSEL and non-linear optical resonators.
