Abstract

This paper presents a multiplexed π-phase shifted FBG based quasi-static strain sensing system. A result of 3 channel sensing with strain resolution better than 0.8 nε/Hz1/2 from 0.1 Hz to 50 Hz and sensing rate of 100 times per second is achieved.
