A Novel Wavelength Converter for PAM Signal based on XGM in cascaded SOAs

Abstract

We propose a novel all-optical wavelength converter using cascaded SOAs for the PAM format. Wavelength conversion of 50-Gbit/s PAM-4 signal is demonstrated by numerical simulation for the first time.
