Abstract

We demonstrate a multi-channel optical add/drop multiplexer based on sampled Bragg gratings in a Mach-Zehnder interferometer in silicon photonics. A BER of less than 1×10-16 for a dropped channel is obtained over a 38 hour period, verifying long term stability and performance.
