By exploiting multiple non-degenerate four-wave mixing in a silicon waveguide and 8 phase-shift keying (8PSK) signals, we experimentally demonstrate on-chip two-input (A, B) simultaneous octal addition (A+B) and bidirectional subtraction (A-B, B-A).
