Massive Orbital Angular Momentum Channels for High Capacity Optical Communication Using Optical Vortex Gratings

Abstract

We demonstrate orbital angular momentum (OAM) based optical interconnect using optical vortex grating. We achieve 160Tbit/s data transmission by 10 individual OAM channels multiplexing. We also demonstrate high-speed switch and multicast of 49 OAM channels. Article not available.
