An 8-TDM Inline fiber Fabry-Perot Sensor Array Based on Ultra-Weak Fiber Bragg Gratings

Abstract

An inline 8-TDM sensor array based on ultra-weak (0.21%) FBGs was presented. The background noise of the sensor array can reach -100 dB/√Hz at 2 kHz for all the 8 TDM channels. The multi-reflection induced crosstalk of > 97% between the sensors can be < −38 dB for 150 measurements.
