Tunable Optoelectronic Oscillator based on ring resonator

Abstract

A novel continuously tunable optoelectronic oscillator (OEO) is proposed, in which ring resonator RF filter is used. Tunable range is about 40MHz and the frequency tuning can be realized by tuning the OTDL ring resonator.
