Methane detection studies based on gas in scattering media absorption spectroscopy

Abstract

We investigate methane detection with a compact and low-cost system using gas in scattering media absorption spectroscopy. A linear correlation of 0.998 between measured and calculated concentration and a sensitivity of 100 ppm is achieved.
