A Novel Byte-Interleaver for Eliminating Correlation of Errors in OTUk Signals

Abstract

A new Byte-Interleaver with low complexity is proposed to eliminate correlation of errors in OTUk signals. By using the Byte-Interleaver as Error-Decorrelator, the resistance of GFEC to correlated errors in OTUk signals is improved.
