VCSEL Based Radio-over-Fiber Link for the Low Frequency Aperture Array Receiver of the SKA

Abstract

A VCSEL-based, radio over fiber link for the Low Frequency Aperture Array of the SKA interferometer is presented. The link SFDR measured is better than 76 dB·Hz2/3 up to 8 km within a 50–350 MHz bandwidth.
