Temperature-independent refractive index sensor based on optical fiber Michelson interferometer

Abstract

We demonstrated an ultra-simple and compact refractive index (RI) sensor based on fiber Michelson interferometer. This intensity-modulated RI sensor exhibited a high sensitivity of −202.46 dB/RIU and eliminated the cross-sensitivity between RI and temperature.
