Coherent Optical OFDM Transmission Based on Phase-conjugated Twin Waves

Abstract

We propose a novel OFDM transmission system based on phase-conjugated twin waves (PCTW). Numerical simulations are performed to verify its performance and its much larger tolerance to the dispersion fluctuation compared with its single-carrier counterpart.
