Optimization of thermal poling in double-anode optical fiber

Abstract

We present a theoretical investigation on thermal poling of double-anode optical fiber. It is found that an optimized asymmetrical double-anode provides larger χ(2), while the symmetrical configuration lead to zero χ(2) in poled fiber.
