Passive Mode-Locking of Erbium Doped Fiber Laser with Nano-scale Carbon Black based Saturable Absorber

Abstract

With nano-scale carbon black powder based saturable absorber, the passive mode-locking of erbium doped fiber laser is demonstrated to deliver stably shortened pulsewidth of 417.5 fs and spectral linewidth of 6.4 nm.
