A UWB over Fiber System based on a Tunable Single Passband Microwave Photonic Filter

Abstract

A simple and stable UWB-over-fiber system based on a tunable single-passband microwave photonic filter is proposed. Transmission of the UWB signals in 20-km fiber and wireless link results in power penalties around 1 dB.
