An Adaptive Point Coordination Function Mechanism for WLAN-Over-Fiber-Based Distributed Antenna Systems

Abstract

In this paper, we present an adaptive Point Coordination Function (PCF) to improve the throughput performance of Radio-over-fiber distributed antenna systems. Simulation results show that the adaptive PCF has better performance than Distributed Coordination Function(DCF).
