Planar waveguide grating devices

Abstract

We present our recent work on arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) and echelle diffraction grating (EDG) devices for optical communications, including polarization-dispersion compensated silicon-on-insulator AWGs with angled star-couplers and uniform-loss cyclic wavelength routers.
