Abstract

A Multi-corrugation-pitch-modulated(MCPM) distributed feedback semiconductor laser is proposed based on the Reconstruction-Equivalent-Chirp (REC) technology. The numerical study shows that the laser’s optical intensity distribution is uniform and SMSR is high, which can suppress spatial-hole-burning effect.
