Numerical Analysis of Dual-Core Optical Fiber Crosstalk via Supermode Theory

Abstract

Numerical analysis of crosstalk for dual-core optical fibers is performed via the supermode theory. The method is compared with the coupled mode theory. Core distance, index difference, and bending effects are studied.
