Active plasmonics: from random to periodic

Abstract

Using self-organizing materials we have demonstrated “active plasmonics” materials/devices in which the plasmonic resonance, optical propagation and diffraction can be finely controlled by means of external perturbations such as electrical or optical field, temperature.
