Efficient polymer solar cells with an power conversion efficiency over 9%

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Organic photovoltaics now step into 9–10% efficiency regime. Efficient polymer solar cells certified efficiency of 9.2% can be realized through an inverted structure, which combine the optimization on both optical and electrical aspects. The new device structure can simultaneously offers ohmic contact for photogenerated charge-carrier collection and allows optimum photons harvest in the device.
