Broadband and Polarization-Independent Solar Absorber based on Plasmonic Coaxial Tapered Holes

Abstract

We proposed a novel solar absorber based on plasmonic coaxial tapered holes. Absorption of over 88% was obtained in a broad wavelength range without dependence on polarization. Absorption enhancement mechanisms were explained in detail.
