Hybrid FRR/p-Cycle Link Pair Design for MPLS-TP Node Protection

Abstract

We present a link pair design scheme for MPLS-TP node protection, which combines p-cycle method with fast reroute (FRR) technology. Numerical results indicate that this approach is successful in combining advantages of p-cycle and FRR.
