Abstract

Phase shaped binary transmission (PSBT) is a kind of duobinary modulation formats. It has narrower spectrum structure. In this paper, we mainly investigate the performance of PSBT format in the polarization mode dispersion (PMD) system. The results show that PMD tolerance is enhanced effectively after compensation.
