Abstract

AFI has shown high sensitivity for early diagnosis and detection of cancer. However, it has a limitation diagnostic specificity due to high-false-positive rates. In our study, we develop an integrated-fluorescence-endoscopic-imaging and point-spectroscopy system for real-time tissue measurements. The results show our system has potential for improving cancer diagnosis and detection.
