Anomalous Modulation Characteristics of Optical Injection-locked VCSELs

Abstract

An anomalous DC-suppression in the small signal response is observed experimentally and its relationship with data pattern inversion is investigated for the first time. With the inclusion of a novel OIL reflection interference model, excellent agreement is obtained between the experiment results and theoretical analysis.
