Abstract

Slope-matching profile of a dual-concentric-core photonic crystal fiber for broadband dispersion compensation is optimized. The dispersion of proposed fiber is −3179.9ps/nm/km at 1550nm, and it can compensate (to within 0.56%) a dispersion of 187 times of the length of single mode fiber over the 100-nm broadband centered at 1550nm.
