160 Gb/s OFDM Transmission Utilizing All Optical Discrete Fourier Transform Processor Based on PLC

Abstract

We demonstrate a 4×40Gb/s OFDM system using silica PLC based all optical discrete Fourier transform processor. Excellent BER and OSNR are observed after 400km transmission. The comparisons with single channel 160Gb/s systems are given.
