Abstract

We have used Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) imaging microscopy to quantify alterations in the fibrillar collagen assembly in ex vivo human malignant and normal ovarian tissues. We integrate 3-D imaging measurements, bulk optical parameter measurements, and Monte Carlo simulations to isolate the structural factors that are different in these tissues.
