Abstract

We show that 8ps pulses are arbitrarily wavelength-converted with efficiency of –6dB by using a 50mm-long quasi-phase matched lithium niobate. The result suggests possibility of selective and tunable wavelength conversion of 40-Gbps WDM signals.
