Quasi-Distributed active mode locking laser sensor using fiber partial reflectors

Abstract

We propose a new type of a quasi-distributed optical laser sensor based on an active mode locking fiber cavity. The change of mode locking frequency of lasing peak is experimentally proportional to the fine displacement change.
