Wideband Instantaneous Frequency Measurement using Stimulated Brillouin Scattering

Abstract

We present a high resolution (50 MHz), wideband (25 GHz) microwave photonic instantaneous frequency measurement system exploiting the wavelength dependence of Brillouin shift to obtain an amplitude comparison function.
