Coupling Dye Molecules to a Silicon Nitride Waveguide

Abstract

A dibenzoterrylene (DBT) molecule can emit single-photons into a waveguide. We have grown and characterised thin, DBT-doped anthracene crystals on photonic structures, including a silicon nitride ridge waveguide from which we detect single-photons.
