Generation of coaxial arrays of petal-like modes using composite spiral multi-value zone plates

Abstract

A method is proposed for creating a coaxial array of petal-like modes by using a multi focal composite spiral zone plate. The composite diffractive element superimposes two oppositely charged optical vortices to generate a desired number of equal intensity petal-like beams.
